There is no stopping progress! While in the past, fibre lasers excelled primarily in the precise cutting of thin sheets, today, thanks to increasingly powerful laser sources from the world's leading solid-state laser manufacturer IPG, HSG is developing new industrial laser cutters that can cut thin sheets at high speeds while also working productively with thick sheets. The GF laser cutter is designed for extra large format thick plate cutting and is a new member of our "High Power" category. The GF series is available in two worktable sizes, 1200 x 3200mm and 13000 x 2500mm. The machine's stable and long-lasting operation is based on a robust, rugged machine frame and imported German and Japanese main parts. It is equipped with an innovative sectional extraction system to prevent smoke from rising.

As with all HSG fibre laser cutters, this machine features an extremely rigid, robust construction, which means that even when cutting small, large objects at high speeds, there is no resonance to adversely affect the quality of the cut. The deformation-free accuracy of the machine bed is guaranteed for 20 years thanks to an innovative manufacturing process. It has a redesigned modular workbench for faster dismantling and safer and more efficient maintenance.

The cross-beam mounted fans force dust and smoke into the bed, preventing the smoke from rising. The fans on the left side of the bed continuously blow air towards the right side, and the extraction system on the right side immediately exhausts the smoke into the air duct.

The main components of the machine come from market-leading and top-quality German and Japanese suppliers. The IPG laser source is the heart of the machine, with a lifetime of up to 100 000 working hours. The laser head is made by German Precitec Procutter. The rack-and-pinion drive is manufactured by German WITTENSTEIN, which has a self-lubricating, enclosed mechanism and is equipped with PANASONIC servo motors to ensure unobstructed running and withstand accelerations up to several Gs. All Rexroth/Omron components guarantee long-term stable operation.

The machine bed is split, comes in sections and the overall length can be customised to the users' needs. Easy disassembly and installation. No connection between the machine body and the workbench. No extra resonance, always precise and excellent cutting results.
